Linus Roache and Heather Burns are set to star in Will Eno's Middletown , which will begin previews on October 6 at the Vineyard Theatre. Ken Rus Schmoll will direct the production. John's next play, Secrets of the Trade , has now been officially announced , and 19-year-old Noah Robbins (from Brighton Beach Memoirs ) will be playing Andy. The play will open the off-Broadway company's...in the cast will be Amy Aquino, Bill Brochtrup and Mark Nelson. The creative team for Primary Stages' production will include Mark Worthington (set), Mike Durst (lights) and John Gromada (sound)

John's play The Royal Family has garnered five Tony nominations , including Best Revival of a Play! Annette O'Toole and Michael McKean are back on Smallville tonight! In an interview with Kryptonsite...used to do the makeup. I didn't get to see Christine, but Natalie came by. And Steve Oben. These are all crew people... and we saw Allison, when she came to see Michael in "Homecoming" in New York

Terrence McNally and his longtime partner Tom Kirdahy got married yesterday. Glover and his Lisbon Traviata co-star Malcolm Gets were witnesses. And Backstage has a review: Like Nathan Lane before...hear a live bootleg recording of her performance of "La Traviata" in Lisbon. The brilliant Glover makes the outrageous Mendy completely his own while never neglecting the lonely, needy man underneath.

Does anyone know how to rip this video? I assume it will soon be replaced by next week's show, so it would be nice to be able to archive it.

Delmarva Now has an interview with John on The Lisbon Traviata , Secrets of the Trade , Smallville , audiobooks, and various other things... Actor John Glover, Salisbury native, returns to the...usually comes to see my shows. If given the opportunity, would you play another long-term role on a TV series again? Depending on the role, sure. I really had a great time working on "Smallville."

Another review, from Metro Weekly : If this were Shakespeare, Glover would be the fool to Gets's King. Funny and outrageous yet, ultimately, the character that best understands the dangerous games being...very much in sync during this performance. “Terrence himself even says he’s finally seeing his play as a whole,” Glover said. “The Lisbon Traviata” opened on March 20 and runs through April 11.
