i have the day off today. trying to think whether i'm in the mood for drawing or just lazing around. got a parcel in the post yesterday from my sister. (owwww chip just clawed my bum!) anyhow, she...third parent for her sister. i guess it's not always best being the oldest. chips made me all allergic, so i'm going to wash my hands and then see if i can make a drawing work with those pastels.
I was driving to work today listening to "The American Life" with Ira Glass on the ipod. I like to download the podcasts for my commute, I LOVE "This American Life". Today I listened to "Life after...years. Apparently drivers of cars who are involved in fatal accidents have a higher rate of PTSD if they don't have a reason/excuse for the accident. This was facinating and heartbreaking for me to hear
Back to work this week. But real work. As in, they're paying me and I'm working on stuff that's not my normal schtick. So, that's cool. More to add to the resume, I guess. Next week I'm back to working...and funny and it's a damn nice place to work even if the accountant is slow at getting checks out.
