This is unashamed necromancy discussion I suppose you could call since I'm taking up a long dead topic. Mostly because I was surfing www.ursulakleguin.com and found a conversation regarding the white-washing...their own biases towards specific cultural practices are being played out when they make so-called "cultures" in SF/F and use those cultures and until they do, SF/F won't truly be portraying any culture
