Kelz and I went thrifting today. God, it was so fun just to get out of the damn house. I hate being a hermit, seriously. But, anyway, it was so fun. We just kinda wondered around looking at the funny...Like, we literally both got into it and there was still some room. TWO GIRLS ONE DRESS . OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I found this cute zip-up hoodie there. Its adorable and it fits perfectly
I went thrift shopping yesterday to try to find anything for my apartment. Instead, all I bought was books. I couldn't help myself. My miniature library is very much lacking in good literature and Barnes...again and tomorrow and hopefully find something other than books. (Unless I find The Bell Jar , because I love that book and I really want it.) P.S. I'm home for two weeks. Let the pain commence
Well, the weather shaped up beautifully this weekend! Yesterday I shopped in the morning and at the Thrift shop found a wickedly wonderful desk I so wanted but it wouldn't fit in my Rubicon!!! I came home...head. I love him. He's my bello. Here are some pics from the day: Memorial Day Weekend in NYC Happy Memorial Day, everyone! May your adventures take you on magical journies! Love, tink xoxo

I managed to call Pre-admission Testing yesterday (PAT) at 4 pm and actually got the right person who picked up after 2 rings. I was planning on just leaving a msg, since they hadn't called me yet. ...vinyl or laminate. Big Brother has offered to help do laminate, so maybe we'll go that way with it. Anyway, I cleared 2 more big bags of junk out of the room, and things are looking much better now.
Okay. so initially, this blog was all about the icons. But I'm feeling like I've outgrown the old blog, so now I'm getting back into the blogging with a new (old but new) username. Hopefully after I get...more shows! more boutiques. so basically it will be amazing, and I'll keep you posted on that one. ummm other than that, I guess I'm just babbling so i'll stop. Unitl next time, yous guys!
The results of a study were reported yesterday that found that "sad" people spend more money. Somehow, we compensate for the blues by shopping. Hearing that story, and considering the funk I've been in...don't really like and I don't think they make the green one anymore. I think I spent a total of $42, which is quite cheap considering that the blazer was $16 and the coat was $22. I want to go back
For the first time ever I have something I want for Christmas. That I bought myself and was conveniently expensive enough that it won't be reasonably possible to be altruistic this year. "I REALLY needed... mama's kitten. They frustrate me so much; having to come home to clean up poo; needing to repair breakables; tossing once-wearable-now-tattered underwear (argh); so why is it so hard for me to say bye
Today I got up bright and early at 9:00 and missed brunch to go hang out with Alyssa, who graciously took time off from writing her 20-25 page paper to go Christmas shopping at thrift stores. We ended...in santa suits, and go bar hopping. As you could imagine, most everyone gets really drunk and so it is a hilarious spectacle to watch. This has become another of the many reasons why I love Portland.
