Hmm, with the arrival of warm spring weather we finally got around to watching They Kiss Again , sequel to our favourite tw-drama It Started With A Kiss ( ISWAK for dummies : dim, bouncy and... The ‘time between dog and wolf’ is that twilight time when you can’t tell whether it’s your friendly dog or a ravening wolf that’s approaching (i.e. can’t tell from friend from foe). Pretty cool!
That's right. I studied art history for EIGHT HOURS today! Woohoo! Learned 11 chapters worth of material just in time for our midterm on Monday. That is cramming at its finest. We'll be starting chapter...an hour of work left. Then i'm all for some 'Time Between Dog and Wolf,' my newest Lee Jun Ki fix. Ah, I love him. I also wish I was in L.A right now, to audition for S.M...Alas...I am not.
Since Powerful Opponents made me think about drama endings. Now, we all know about those infamous ‘last minute unhappy endings’ which seem to be tacked on to inflict utmost misery (Glass Slippers’ infamous...this drama rather bored me…the ENGRISH! 11. Bad Love: drama starring Kwon Sang Woo, weepy heroines, tragic love, and with such a title. Who knew it would end well. 12. Whatever I fixate on next
Ok, so Powerful Opponents ended. You know what else ended? My brief attempts to watch dramas as they air. I dislike it and it always comes back to mess me up. PO would be only the third drama I have...are narratively concluded with a little hope and/or hint for the future. PO was 16 eps going nowhere! And I thought the ending of MGP sucked. PO is worse because I actually liked the characters..
Things that make me happy: 1. Daemul isn’t scrapped. The air date has been pushed to October, which I can deal with. Hopefully they will iron things out by then. 2. The fangirls in the JJH thread on... Strongest Chil Woo which is coming out later this summer. Also, this way I can have a ‘I am in love with my not!sibling’ OTP of aristocrat girl and Iljimae’s nemesis, which would also make me happy

I have decided that it was about time for me to update and expand my favorite kdrama primer (which I first did some month ago). I have found my newest favorite drama MV. Was just watching eps 1 and 2 of Time Between Dog and wolf . It's a South Korean action-romance drama. Action's not really my thing and it looks like it's going dark, dramatic places. But whatever...Girl . Yeah, I didn't get past the first episode of that one. I think I vaguely remember him in it. Probably going to stick with Time Between Dog and Wolf for a little bit though. Just for him. xxx
Today we are in Moorea, which looks much bigger than the other islands we've seen so far: it's blue and green, and the tallest peak is covered in white clouds. Even the sheer cliffs are green. We are... Somehow this manages to be both light without being disrespectful and ignoring of the horrible political realities, and serious and with a majorly grim undertone without being dreary. I love it..
