Spirit Rock is a meditation retreat located in Marin. The facility is beautiful; a huge three level temple, some residence halls, and community centers nestled in the hills. ...few days, we've doing doing a lot of work involving gravel and lots of it. Causeways and "french drains" required us to have to go down a steep, sometimes slippery hill and haul gravel back up to the trail. Hard work but very gratifying. So far, I think we've completed some where around seven to eight "french drains" and five causeways including one that way 40 feet long and took about 150 buckets...
