The Wild at Spirit Rock

Spirit Rock is a meditation retreat located in Marin. The facility is beautiful; a huge three level temple, some residence halls, and community centers nestled in the hills.  The deer are unafraid of...I leapt up and mouthed the words. lol Hand to his heart. We did exchange a few words. I was so happy. And later he came up to me... yep he'd gone up the hill, and, astonishingly, seen the cougar. :-)

waiting my turn

...at the edge of the park bordering the reservoir; all dark lumps with their green grass on the wrong side. Encountering a cougar, at Spirit Rock, was very unlike encountering a bobcat on my local trail. Broad tawny face and focused eyes. The very thought of it enlivens my whole body. Walking back towards the residence halls, not knowing if the cougar was pacing me just on the other side of the...

oh, THE GRAVEL...

...few days, we've doing doing a lot of work involving gravel and lots of it. Causeways and "french drains" required us to have to go down a steep, sometimes slippery hill and haul gravel back up to the trail. Hard work but very gratifying. So far, I think we've completed some where around seven to eight "french drains" and five causeways including one that way 40 feet long and took about 150 buckets...

Inciting Hate in the Campaign Trail

I found this entire clip completely offensive to my intellect. I allow the fact that everyone is granted the right to their own political opinion. I even make it a point to remove politics from my everyday...the stuffed monkey). But then again, if I ever did that, I would just be lowering myself down to their level. Oh, all the satisfaction I will miss out on by being the better person. :(

Who am I?

I don't really know who I am anymore. I loose myself sometimes. I know who I want to be & try to project that but often times feel as tho I'm faking. To the world & to myself. I hope to be posting regularly...someone to share the now with me? Someone to truely look at and wonder what will we being doing next year, what wonders will we discover? I am constantly redefining my understanding of the universe
