Firstly, Happy Birthday tanac . Secondly, I'm home again. We made it inside minutes before the thunderclaps and pouring rain, so I'm going to call that good timing. Figures are from memory and...my RMT on Friday, which should help a great deal. Even if it didn't, the trip was more than worth all the little inconveniences. Last year at Burning Man, I didn't exactly feel like a tourist, but I didn't really feel like a resident until the week was nearly over. In fact, I can put my finger on the moment my heart opened up to...nearly got lost in a dust storm, but found my way home alone in the mysterious dark of the largely dismantled city, slightly lighter than before, having burned at least a small piece of my sacred trash

I've been neglecting this blog something terrible lately, but at least now I have an excuse: My brain has melted. Truly. I've gone from lightly joking about it to being a bit frustrated about the level...even further by the time Conflux rolls around. I could blather on a bit more, I suspect, but I'm going to take a hot bath instead before getting to work. (Yes, my life is so, so hard.) Ta for now.

Patting ourselves on the back for being such good little doobies and getting a proper night's rest, we all met up for a day of sun and fun on the SEAduced Catamaran. The crew, Sylvan, Leon and Jody, took great care of us and we had an amazing day. Eighteen of us made the trip, each bringing something yummy to eat and drink, making for a fine feast.  Read more here!  

Ураа! Мы в сан Себастьяне! Заселились в отель и уже почти спим :) Сегодня целый день провели в Памплоне - там потрясающе хорошо и везде расставлены Хэмингуэи ,) Я просто влюбилась в этот город - он очень...22 - как раз то, что надо! Вода показалась на ощупь довольно теплой - купаться ещё  не пробовали :))) ... картинки, конечно, будут, а пока мы идем смотреть Баффи и, так сказать, repose! )))  

I am trying to get the meaing of everything that happened this weekend, I am sure that a great deal of it will not be clear for a while. Walking home from holidays in the dark alone, I stopped in a small town to consult a map & work out my progress, & was surprised to find that after only one hour I appeared to be half-way there.

Packing for 20 degree temps when it's pushing 100 outside.  But Yellowstone has been running high 20's, mid 50's all this week, and i'm hoping it will be even cooler in 20 days.  Whee!
