There have been comics to please every niche in everyone, every neurosys, kink, and vice. Geek and nerd comics are copious, but so few have really struck the calculating, complex, must-be-this-smart-to...passing second exciting as I wait for them to move into asynchronous tink-tonk'ing, but never do! There's a multitude of XKCD comics I could link and fawn over, but I'm self-conscious, so I won't.

My birthday is in 7 days. Most people hate their birthday at this point in their lives because it signifies getting old. And even though I'm not the CEO of my own record label yet.... I get really...! And there isn't very much I want for my birthday. Just to hang out with my family and the boy I love.   But if anyone asks, I want everyone in the entire world to use their turn signals.

I did some work on Arcadia today - I installed a new OEM choke cable and put on some LED turn signals in the back. The rear turn signals still don't work (they haven't been working for months), though...harness under the seat to the area on either side of my license plate. I have a couple of L brackets from the hardware store mounted there, and it's to those L brackets my turn signals are attached

Rock Band is addictive, 10 am math classes are meant to be slept through, and it's good to be back and see everyone again. My to do list is already terrifying, but hopefully I can use this three day weekend...passed that will synchronize turn signals. I have simple desires. At some point I need to take care of one of my more important and irritating ones, but I've decided that that can wait until February

What on earth is it with people in this area not using turn signals???? I was hit by a car this morning. Technicality. The vehicle made contact. So I was on Calvert Street where Federal intersects with...leave the intersection of Gilroy and Beaver Dam without a traffic signal. Crossing that intersection on foot is a nightmare, and once again, at least half the people just don't bother with turn signals

From when I installed the engine guard and highway pegs on Arcadia, also her new front turn signals. Port mirror closeup I managed to break off my port mirror. I replaced it...ties in order to get a look at where it was supposed to hook up. Once I was clear on that, I removed the zip ties and bolted the engine guard on properly. At least on the starboard side...

I spent most of today wrenching on Arcadia. I replaced the carriage bolt that had been serving as her front lower starboard engine mount since Greenville, installed a replacement final drive breather cap...spliced into a blue wire, and the other white one appears to come directly from the handlebar switch. As I'm getting a new headlight soon, I shudder to think what installing it will be like.
