Oh! My! Show! *glee* What an awesome villain of the week. Most of the guys Michael goes up against are so woefully out of their depth with him, but this guy went toe to toe with him and hardly blinked...evil. Carla is less interesting to me and also, she annoys me. She's too...smug, I think, in her dealings with Michael. Plus. Carla, Victor, and Michael going toe to toe to toe? Beyond awesome
*squeals with incoherent glee* VICTOR!!! Squee! Yeah, I knew he was coming back, yeah, I knew it was going to be a small scene this week, and yeah, I figured it would be near the end. But none of that...early? Or did Victor just go rogue? (Man, that would be awesome if he did and he ends up being a Krycek-like character, whose loyalties are never quite known.) Gah! Is it next week yet? *bounces
This week's Numb3rs was good, though nothing special, but I just have to say kudos for the Big Bang Theory shoutout. The password was LeonardSheldon4A! Went by so fast I had to back it up and pause it to make sure. Hee!
That was fantastic! One of the best episodes they've done. Tons of fun, lots of good character moments. Fiona and Sam didn't have a whole lot to do, but Michael was awesome and Agent Bly actually got...a neat show with an interesting concept and the potential to really grow into something amazing with a season or two to come into its own but it's on FOX which means it'll be canceled in five episodes
NCIS 6x15, Deliverance: Meh. Not bad per se, but Gibbs-centric episodes rarely hold my attention very well. There was very little McGee or Abby. Even Ziva and Tony got mostly ignored and treated as turnstiles...the painted car was. I'm not sure if it's my prosopagnosia flaring up or I missed an episode somewhere or they switched the actress or what, but no idea who she was or what was up with the car. Huh
A serviceable episode, but after waiting over a month for a new ep, I was a little disappointed. The plot-of-the-week was fine. Not their best, but still interesting and quirky. The best scene was probably...comic book habit. I love David. Comic geek butt-kicking FBI agent. Hee! No Colby this time out. :( How can David and Colby be awesome together if one of them is missing? Ah well. Good stuff all around
I caught up on last week's Numb3rs just in time for this week's Numb3rs. I hadn't really been looking forward to it, but it was actually pretty good. It's funny, I keep expecting Numb3rs to disappoint...Voglio imparare l'italiano, ma non vogliano fare il lavoro. Sono molto pigro. E penso che sono dimenticare molto. Ero fare cosi-cosi. Ero leggere un po' e parlare cosi semplici. Ma, ora, sono dimenticare
So I've begun to delve deeply into the murky and deep jungles of fanon. Your intrepid reader is hacking away, bravely pressing on in the face of the overgrown fanon that dogs her every move. ...I should...really is. If they have something that's not a straightforward romantic pairing, than I might be okay with it. I'd have to see it developed more. So, two good NCIS episodes in a row? Yayess. *g
Non-spoilery reaction to the SGA finale: See, if the show had been a little more like that for the last five years, I might have been a regular viewer instead of an occasional and very snarky viewer. ...I finally figured out how to strip all of the spaces and single quotes out of my file names which will make them much easier to access from the terminal in the future. Yay for regular expressions. *g
The Ubuntu forums seem to be experiencing technical difficulties. *twitches* I will attempt to distract myself with other things. NCIS! Oh, show. Just as soon as I start thinking that maybe I'm done with...comic came! Woot! I read the first few pages, but I didn't want to rush through it seeing as I had to wait so long. I'll probably sit down and read it properly once I finish the book I'm reading now
