I’ve been pondering this question lately, and basically, I don’t...education (and I’m not continuing to pay for it!) just so I can continue to earn the type of money I would earn if I worked full-time in retail. It’s about time I started to earn an adult salary.
And so commences my "second" year of university. This semester's courses are MAOR219 : Te Tiriti: The Treaty of Waitangi, JAPA208 : Japanese Society, and : Beginners' Japanese. It feels strange, after... especially since it's been twelve years since I last wrote any. This now bumps my total Languages Learnt At University to four . I'm not fluent in any of them but it's the thought that counts. ;)

How do people get that certainty about jobs and careers? Why the fuck don’t I have that one consuming passion that I can turn into a job the way others do?

And as everyone will know, a better working environment makes for a happier and more productive worker!
Just when I thought I had left high school English five years behind me, along comes ENGL118. Poetry, lyrics and monologues. Sssymbolism! Great Merciful, what have a signed up for? I pissed around in English classes, ffs. Thank goodness it's only for six weeks but I foretell a long six weeks. Now I remember why I previously vehemently decided against enrolling in creative writing papers...
