Thanks to all who made our fall clothing drive at the Somerville Community Growing Center a huge success. Neighbors and friends donated 1,328 pounds of clothing, shoes and accessories to help people in...thanks to the Somerville Community Growing Center for enthusiastically hosting Second Chances twice this year. Opening this weekend-  2 installations-- "knowing was half the battle" by Vanessa Thompson and "Outside In" by Meredith Fitzgerald. The opening reception will be Saturday October 4th, 6:00-9:00pm.  There...91. East Somerville Main Streets has cancelled tonight's outdoor showing of Paheli due to rain . It was already postponed once due to rain on September 12, so it's just not going to happen. I wish them... will take place as scheduled Saturday, 5-10 pm, at the Community Growing Center, 22 Vinal Avenue. They say: "We have purchased a LARGE tent to cover the space, so we will have rain, but we won't be wet!

We have been gearing up for Vision Expo West in Vegas, so work was insane last week--I worked 12 hour days, but I did order sushi for dinner one night to soften the blow...I really feel for those of you...the Coen Brothers' biting wit.  I enjoyed most of their movies, Blood Simple. Raising Arizona, Fargo, and No Country for Old Men, to name a few.  Their quirky characters rarely disappoint!
