Some notes on Vlad the Impaler I'm documenting for further use in Hellsing: Romulus and Remus .  Alucard tends to flash back to events from his past, so I though I should maybe store up some info on...dragons appear frequently on his clothes and in his castle once he becomes the vampire Dracula. In the film, Vlad/Dracula was played by Gary Oldman, and Elisabeta/Mina was played by Winona Ryder.  

Some kind stranger seems to have taken the time to put on YouTube the entirety of the movie Dark Prince: The True Story of Dracula , which is a made-for-television movie on Vlad the Imapler. The first...Vlad at his father's side, inventing the methods of execution for him. - There are lines almost straight out of my play Battle Strategies in some of the Vlad and Radu scenes. And...that would be it

Ok, so I was re-reading The Historian , which I haven't read since I first bought it and I was maybe thirteen, made it all the way to the third chapter, and was then forced to drop it entirely.  Eh, pretty...for a while too, almost two months last year, if I remember correctly. Off to find more Vlad the Impaler stories...  ...Also wondering if a fascination with a guy nicknamed "The Impaler" means anything..

In the realm of things I will write one day: A play about Vlad the Impaler, in the style of Shakespeare's history plays. Possibly at least partly in iambic pentameter. Oh, but, really, wouldn't it be...other wonderful things. (On a slightly related note, the Wikipedia article on Vlad the Impaler has suddenly become about ten times more useful than it was the last time I looked at it. I'm impressed.

  This past week was terrible, as I did not work on my novel at all until this morning. The problem I had was that I got used to getting regular sleep in February. My enthusiasm for getting up earlier...is back to square one. The burning sensation in my rear was somewhat offset by the deep tissue massage I had on my anniversary that was administered by a lovely young woman named Amanda.

My sister helped me write a essay!!! It was about Vlad the Impaler! He impaled people and did you know Ottomania is not a country, it's an Empire? Which just makes me thinkg of Star Wars so then I just...and I bet Fiona could help her do essays too! And then E&E are going to adopt a little baby boy because Emma said the house needs some dick in it now that the Xandrov boys are gone. I AM SO EXCITES

Vlad Tepes liked people who were clever with words. He would ask them a question and if they could answer it he would spare them. Vlad: What came first the chicken or the egg? Sometimes I wonder if being intrigued by horrible people makes you horrible on some level. I am completely intrigued by Vlad the Impaler/Vlad Dracula who was a mass murder of epic proportions and completely...piss it off enough to find out if the spirit in question isn't nice. Maybe it's America's almost innate sense of voyuerism or my natural curiousity. After all, when has power not been interesting?

The whole temple of MMMM needs some warlord loving *g* This is supposed to be Vlad the Impaler, but my mind goes 'that's Warlord!Creed' As skybluerae stated: there's bracers, weapons & boots. Aaand not to mention long hair *g*
