THIS STATE. THE WEATHER HERE. AUUUUGH. Pouring down rain so hard I can't see more than a block down the street. Flash flood warnings have been issued for the city and damn near everywhere else in the eastern side of the state (no surprises, it's really been that bad the past few days). It's cold, there's lightning and thunder and rain, rain, so much rain. I no longer regret driving home last...

... I've decided to start a Mowing Diary. That will be a perfect companion piece to my Allergy Diary. Gosh I love Texas.... I've been laying low for a couple of weeks because, once more, I am under the weather, this time with a lingering bronchitis. So I'm on my second round of antibiotics (both of which, interestingly, require me to minimize my sun exposure). I just wanted to touch base with all those...

You know what's not really such a good idea? Watching an action movie filled with explosions during a thunderstorm. But on the other hand, I have free surround sound at the moment! (Seriously, one crack...Man plot bunnies. And they're vicious . And mean. And they refuse to let me have any moment's peace! They just keep gnawing and nibbling and scratching and putting words in my head. Send help.

So it was almost 60° yesterday. It was warm and sunny and beautiful and I opened all the windows in my house so I could at least enjoy the smell of the air coming in through the screens, even if I had too much work to do to go outside and bask in it. Today, it is snowing. And gray. And cold. And the snow is starting to accumulate on the ground.

Noooooooooooo why is it snowing?! I don't understand! WE HIT FIFTY DEGREES EARLIER THIS WEEK. Seriously why is it snowing and why is it sticking to the ground ?! Nooooooooooooo

Snow again. [ she observes with a sigh, leaning against the side of the open doorway to house #7, arms crossed and eyes on the flurries floating down from the sky. so much weather made her miss space sometimes, where environments were controlled and stayed at a constant and rain and snow and cold weren't an issue. looking down at the journal in hand, she asks-- ] How long does this weather last...

Busy weekend! -Had an appointment with the eye doctor on Friday and managed to snag myself a pair of classy new glasses. They are black and bold and have two small flowers pressed into either side...of, sort of case of senioritis. Either way, it's bad, and I am hoping I at least hit some kind of rhythm with school within the next few weeks. I'd like to NOT fail my second-to-last semester, kthx

So tired. I'm going to sleep here in a few minutes. But I wanted to say: Owl City? Pretty dang cool live. It's just a pity the bass was turned up to eleven and I could barely hear the lyrics as a result...a touch so it fit with a group of guys singing it. IT WAS HILARIOUS AND AWESOME AND AMAZING. Aaaand they're outta Nashville, just like Autovaughn, which may have helped them out a lot in my mind.
