...according to my husband. I offered to do his spot on 'clean up sunday' at the allotment. So...i wonder...what am I built for?? Comfort not speed?Sitting at a pc 24/7...with my knackered shoulder...bar low for myself? I think I need to reflect, meditate, motivate myself.....and then maybe make a wish board...........I'll do that once I finish stitching sequins on to the next 7 dresses....
...stuffing myself with chocolate for breakfast. I even dreamt about weighing myself, I was 9 stone in my dream and I couldn't believe i'd lost 4 stone in a week! Is that humanly possible? So, how much weight have I lost this week... Weigh-in Day: 13st 0 Another 3 bloody pounds! Amazing! I am so pleased with myself, i'm going to try and have another very good week so I can reach my target next Friday...
Did CrossFit again on Saturday. Workout this time was: 9 push-ups 12 squats jog 50m out then sprint 50m back OR 30 jumping jacks We were supposed to do 12 rounds for time, but time was called at 15 minutes... :p I only started measuring myself with measuring tape last week, so we'll see if there's much difference at the end of the month. I feel like I've plateaued, but I've only just started, really
Went swimming this morning. I am following a 0 to 1650 program. Today's workout consisted of: 4 100s, with 12 breaths of rest in between 4 50s with 8 breaths of rest in between 4 25s with 4 breaths...boo because the gym hours are changing because of it. The gym won't open until 8, instead of 7:30, and the pool won't be open at all in the mornings. Going to have to come up with a new plan I guess
So Saturday I finally dragged myself to the CrossFit gym in town. Did the following workout: As many rounds in 15 minutes of: 10 push press 20 sit ups 30 squats 15 minutes. Piece of cake, right? I used...actually go down stairs without clenching my teeth and wincing. I'm also not limping when I walk. I will get in that swim workout tomorrow. Despite all that, I'm totally going again next Saturday
So originally my plan for March was to start working on being able to run an 8k once daylight savings time kicked in. I have podcasts for it even. But I realize that so much of it is going to depend on... other than just go back and forth for half an hour changing strokes whenever you feel like it. Need something a bit more structured to help me become a better swimmer. Any ideas, dear readers
So I decided to try the 'workout' setting in workout mode on DDR. When you're setting up your workout, you can choose between beginner mode, workout mode, and at least one other, probably advanced mode...for. Beginner basic was just getting to be too easy and I didn't really feel like I was actually getting a workout. Maybe by the end of the month, I'll be ready to move up to beginner maniac! :
The problem with starting out on a new exercise regimen is how much it makes your weight fluctuate and how long it takes your body to settle down in your new routine. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've heard all the arguments about not weighing oneself daily but it works for me and I like doing it, so I will continue to do so. Been gaining weight and unhappy about it. But luckily, my scale also gives me my body...
Ok. So I have a plan. A plan for fitness. I did the couch to 5k thing, and it was awesome. But when it was over, I just sorta died along with it. So I have a new plan. This plan should last me till summer...hardest part is going to be doing the Swimsuit Booty Bootcamp when there's not actually a bootcamp going on. I'll have to try and wrangle some of my TarValon SparkTeam members into doing it with me
Just got back from a run. When I left, the sun was actually out. Halfway through, it started to rain. Not a hard rain by any means, but still. Run was pretty slow. I was trying to use the MapMyFitness...from 31-36 minutes or so. Bah. Well, aside from that, it was nice to go out and run. It really feels like spring out there. Going to go do some strength training now, while I'm still in the mood
