I abide in Talona, and Talona abides in me.   *coughs up phelm* Yesterday was the poetry reading thing for Art at Work month. Two of the other winners were Allen Braden, my creative writing teacher...patrons of the arts were thanked. Afterwards some people from the Tacoma Arts Commission shook my hand and complimented me on my reading. So I performed in the service of both Oghma and Talona that night.

Ah, Roger, once again you kick ass *applauds* Awesome, Rogi is playing like Rogi again. The quarter-finals with Blake again COULD mess with his head, but I think with the way he's going at the moment *touch wood* he should be fine. =D And we have the potential for a Roger/Andy semi, don't we? *bounces*

I posted back on the 6th that I made it through the first elimination round on a very excellent flash fiction contest. Last night, I finally had an update. I'm in the top ten. o_o This means at...a literary agent like something I wrote. Part of me is afraid they sent me the congratulatory email by accident. I'll definitely post here when the results are posted and the story is published

Last night I took my narrative illustration class to the Boston Public Library to see the murals there. It's one of my favorite spots in the whole city :) While there, we were fortunate to stumble upon...related stuff and war related stuff. The show is up through the end of the year(!) SO GO SEE IT, IT'S FREE AND THE PUBLIC LIBRARY IS PUBLIC AND AWESOME. Good visual storytelling is hot like sex :
