Report on Sunday at Wiscon forthcoming, when I have managed to scrape my brain back together. In the meantime, behold the enormous pile of loot with which I returned! All of this was given... really light and thus the airplane staff couldn't possibly need to weigh it. I thank my gym and its weights machines for ensuring that I can nonchalantly lift 15kg at arm's-length with one hand..

So, I am not a huge crowd person (I suspect most writers aren't). Wiscon, while awesome, brings all the general stress associated with large groups of people, to whom one hopes to be charming/palatable... and hope that I'll have shaken all this out in the next week or so. ...just in time to get ready for Readercon! I am back at home, lying on the couch and desperately trying not to go to sleep, given that it's only 2pm. Couldn't sleep much on the flight back - the seats were tiny even by airplane standards - so I'm...supposed to be. I will not stop neurotically washing my hands for another week, I think, as there are still reports coming in of people coming down with the Great Wiscon Plague after getting home..

While preparing this week's Questionable Taste Theatre , I keep laughing at the Wiscon memory of two unfortunate souls watching The Red Shoes with me, their faces slowly transforming from snark to sheer...of liking a pair of shoes, and Hans snaps, "Who is to say what the size of an offense is?" It's now Monday, and I no longer have a yhlee . I am sad. The con is winding down now, with most people already gone; I'm hanging out in the hotel room keeping daidoji_gisei (who is still...moment. Yoon, later: "I can't believe you did that to me." Me: "Ah, you wanted to!" Yoon: "As could be told by the way I was running away screaming." I am indeed an evil, evil person.

Still haven't slept; totally worth it. I am not a crowd person, but Wiscon was awesome. And now, an hour to pack my luggage so that when they lose it again everything is nicely folded. Sadly, I have no con report, except this: I never stopped eating. The eating just NEVER STOPPED. I still can't decide if this is awesome or dangerous. Aweserous?
