a milk maid no more

i've decided i'm going to do everything i can to go completely dairy free. i've made huge steps to doing so already, but i was still letting things slide - lattes, pizza, various "mexican" foods. but i...muffin-cup-lined muffin pan, filling to just below tops. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until tops of muffins bounce back when pressed lightly. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.

Crazy Shameful Bitch So last week, I might have been a wee bit of a spoiled brat at my workout, with the consequence that my trainer (normally a pretty easy-going guy) cancelled me as a client. I had...voting delegate. Yeeps. Renaissance Faire, having moved from Gig Harbor to the Sumner/Buckley area. Performing fire again with the Cabiri at the Arts & Nature Festival at Camp Long. I’M ON FIYAH.

So, tonight was my six week progress check in at Fitness Together. Wow, it's been six weeks since the return post ; I had no idea. The results were good. The MILE

I just ran a mile in 8 and a half minutes. I swear that's like a record for me! Even when I was planning to go into the Air Force after high school I never ran it that fast. Now 8 and a half is by no means...when you're battling with two big mama d's being thrown up in your face with every step, I'm actually pretty pleased at the result. My legs feel a little like jello right now... but I'm exhilarated! :
