...van at night because being a writer is 25-hour job. Charoz. :P A couple of fello-- hey, is that...? Yeah, it's rockstar-at-large Dong Abay! Spotting him is like spotting Waldo. More workshop-related blood and ass shots over here, at Multiply. But the week before that was academic hell week. So interviews and research papers happened on the fly. This one was the documentation...
aranel_took been writing Hal/Kyle for about a year now. Her fic is on LJ ( sector_2814 ) and her own website ( http://sector-2814.fancrone.net ). She also runs a Hal/Kyle community on LJ...exclusively (at least according to Google searches). I’ve started a LiveJournal community, hal_kyle , to try to grow interest in them, so if you want to write them or just read them, please stop by!
... Only saw a couple of halloween quilts, 2 the witch is in (a hat with feet sticking out), a skeleton, and one trick or treat one. None that sparked any ideas. When I got home DH wanted help in his workshop (he didn't go with but will for the one in Schaumburg in november). He had worked while I was gone and needed some new ideas for organizing. I helped him until it was time for church. He said...
So, for awhile now I've had a small engine lathe... a couple of saws, a vice and some other tools here at home. I also have all my work tools from work... sitting in my toolbox on a shelf. About $1800...onboard simply because the job generates "paperwork" that she can do. So I got support there... and she helped to pay for a couple of tools that'll make things easier. All and all I cant complain.
...is going to donate a buck per winner to the Young Writers Program this year, but you gotta roll over to the community and post a comment with your nano username first. Easy enough for me -- "SimonBob" is my universal constant, because nobody else seems to want a name this dumb. :D Also: don't forget the Plot Workshop, tomorrow from 1:30 to 4:30 at the World Exchange Plaza food court!

So I should make it really clear that any opinions expressed in here are mine mine mine, and do not reflect spnroundtable or oxoniensis at all. Plus, a lot of the stuff I'll talk about here is derived from my own personal pet peeves. As a warning, I tend...

Chick Magnet: Magneto and Relationships Ever since his reformation in the early 1980's, Magneto has made women swoon both on panel and in the fan base. He has all the intelligent, brooding...story. There is so much lovely subtle subtext for a homoerotic relationship between the two of them in the Ultimate Universe the pages practically smolder when they are on panel together.

Huntress walked slowly into her workshop classroom. She knew she was early but she didn't have anywhere to go. She wasn't much of a reader, or a jock or even one of the girls who gossiped about everything in the bathrooms. She sat down at the nearest seat and looked around. The smell of wood still lingered in the air. No one had spoken to her yet. Huntress didn't expect anyone to.
