To make up for my lack of recent updates on this fic, I thought I'd share something with you. Specially for the die-hard fans of IchiouxKaname, here is the original draft of the lead up to the eventual...coming along. It will be a short but emotionally intense chapter, focusing on Kaname and Takuma angst. I hope to have it out soon, but will have to see if the muses are in an indulgent mood :D   

Midnight Ascending has been updated with Chapter 2: The Phantom Noose I had a lot of fun with this chapter, the dialogue especially, and Kaname's inner struggle. I wanted to draw parallels between...over his dark side, but I wouldn't want him to seem unfeeling. I got such a great response to chapter 1, and I hope everyone enjoys this chapter just as much! Must get back to work now *grumbles*.

I've been wanting to do a fic with just Kaname and Zero for a while now, and this specific bunny wouldn't let me go... The premise is that prior to Zero completing his transition and biting Yuuki, Kaname... so I'd rather rate it M from the beginning than have to change it later. The first chapter is up on FF, do read it  here and let me know what you think! Hope you find it a good read :D
