I woke uplate again this morning and got to schoollate once more. So I was thinking to myself, what the hell if the VP is going to talk to me about being late all the time, then I would rather volunteer...to their seperate ways, I got home and tried out my contacts. Holy shit my fucking eyelashes would not want to comprehend. But I manage to put em in and i think its great. WOOPPPPPppp p ppp pp pp
Näin on. :>
Because it's just too weird. There's a Dutch artist who has designed a new type of jewelry-- that's worn on the eyeball. Yes, the tear jewelry consists of a small crystal (or set of crystals or... they're still getting all of the paperwork in order, but in a couple months you may see bored European rich kids sporting these. Planned starting price around 200 pounds (roughly $350 at the moment).
Yesterday I went for another appointment at my opticians. Fortunately the blood vessel that caused me to stop wearing my last lens has now disappeared enough for me to be able to try a new type. I'm going...the oxygen permeability should be much better than the combined lens I was using, which will avoid the blood vessel growth. I will hopefully pick the lens up next weekend and we'll see how it goes..
you know, one thing i didn't think i would have to "get used to" about contact lenses was being able to see as i lay down to sleep. You see back in the dark ages when i had contact lenses before, soft...in typical aran white, but i have fantasies of color blocks.... and to practice and get gauge i figure i will make a pair of mittens by making a cable band for the cuff... and then knit the mitten....
Yesterday during my 15-miler, I realized my shoes had lost their bounce. I went through my running log when I got home, and, sure enough, we had run around 350 miles together, and it was time to retire...down my nose, the earpieces sort of "pull" on the backs of my ears, and it's very uncomfortable. So I ended up carrying them but then I couldn't see very well. Sigh. The trials and tribulations.
So the saga of my eyes is continuing, and I'm currently on my fourth contact lens for my left eye, but there is a good chance I'll need another. My last lens fitted well and I could see really well. However...in it and is slightly flatter to let more tears underneath it. Will the change in lens cause this bloodvessel to disappear, or will I need a fifth lens? I have a check up next Monday to find out..
Hi, peops. Just checking in. I kind oflost my will to blog after I lost my glasses last month. Lost my interest in a lot of things, actually -- hard to muster it when you just. want. to claw your eyes...has been long missing for me. Now if I can just figure out how to use it to pay the bills without a large cash outlay for retraining. Oh yeah, and I voted in the NH statewide primary today. 'K bye
And I got re-evaluated today! So everything is a-OK, except every store I've gone to doesn't carryUltra Beatdown!!! I'm just gonna order it online, then...
