I managed to get to sleep at a(n almost) decent hour and woke up this morning. I had an interview this morning with an investigator. Since my job requires a clearance, they had to meet with me to discuss..... well you know where! I only want to lose about 5 to 10 more pounds and then tone/strengthen the rest. And I know BMT will definitely amp the progress! Oh damn, my hot cocoa is getting cold...
Well, postponement for a day. The New Job Place decided it would make more sense for me to start on Monday. They aren't wrong, exactly, but it does mean I'm rearranging. Or maybe not. I think I deserve...do this. Because I want to, and because I can. And also, it would be really nice to feel like my characters weren't all hanging out in my head, saying "Whatever, you never let us do anything fun.
Just got official word that my contract at NBC was extended from 12/31/08 until 3/30/09 in part-time mode. Currently I am working full-time. Which frees me up to find another full-time day gig. I like it when things work out as planned. :-)

I haven't lost my current job, but...thing, so I hope the best for 'em. If anyone hears about a job opening for a jr. network administrator or IT support technician, lemme know. Hopefully next time I post it will be with good news

I wish I... or hey, work at all. I just get depressed and discouraged, sleeping in the same bed I did when I was 8, seeing everyone else move forward in their lives. I don't want to waste any more of my youth
...see, my stepdad is an civil engineer (although what he does exactly, I'm not 100 percent sure, because like all engineers he's extremely VAGUE about his job description), and most of their company's jobs they get from the government. Well, with the current economic problems going on, they've got less jobs lined up, so the company let two people go and cut Jim's hours back to three to four days a...
This is my 13-month anniversary of both lj and lrpdrabbles. This time last year, I was (briefly) unemployed, which I actually enjoyed rather more than I had the right to. I've written probably the best...) In other news, party weekend coming up! Mark and I have just acquired the finishing touches for our Halloween costumes, and I have good hopes of him coming along to the Mess on Saturday night too :
