Title: Grounded Rating: K+ (some light angst, mild sexual themes) Author: iconraven Prompt(s): Chocolate milk, Rice-A-Roni, Zabar's Blend Coffee. I only used the coffee prompt though...to get all this angst from coffee, but alas here it is. I did not have a beta, so any and all mistakes are mine and mine alone. It had been almost a year since she had had a cup of coffee.

Off work this week, in a bout of "use it or lose it" holiday. Aside by being lazy and getting up quite late, not to mention having a really annoying cold, I've actually had a rather productive week. I've...needs a good clean top to bottom, after which I shall doubtless collapse in a heap. Been nice to get away from the office for a bit, although I go back into the teeth of month end, which is always fun

Ralph should probably give it up.
I’m using the following backup script to make live backups (like Time Machine) of a bunch of web sites, all of which live under /sites:
#!/bin/sh
date=`date "+%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S"`
find /var/lib/mysql... This is a sweet way to get incremental backups without having to restore from multiple locations.
For more details, see Time Machine for every Unix out there , the page I based this on.

I received an invite the other day to give an interview in WhoHub. It's a new site with a pretty groovy idea - interviews with creatives. I'm not sure how they found me, or what their criteria of who they invite is - but I enjoyed answering the questions. They were thoughtful and made me think. You can read my interview here . I hope they add more children's book creators!
Well, I did it. On the way to work yesterday I went into the closest salon I could find (the one I usually go to) and asked how long the wait was. When she said she could take me now and what did I need...let you guys vote on it. Is that cool? This one will involve Soujiroh's brother, but I won't say exactly how and I'm torn between two people for his brother in the banner...so we'll see how it goes
