...intolerance; we hear a lot about offending others. We have this thing called "political correctness," so that we don't accidentally offend or insult anyone. But I see a doublestandard in our culture regarding curse words, swear words, "four-letter words" -- whatever you want to call them. Yes, times are changing, and many people are no longer offended by the use of such words in everyday...
I feel like a snot pinata. My Nicaraguan cold did not, in fact, go away like I thought it was. Now, I am full of snot. It is gross. I took some Nyquil last night and slept for 10 hours. That stuff seriously... particularly Irish dark comedy is rather unique, I might still like it. Off to go do something marginally useful with myself. Lately, my heart has been calling out to the youth of other countries. I don't know why--considering that I've only been overseas once and that was when I was born--but something about different cultures...love to be a part of it. I'd love to be a part of SOMETHING. S o, I was at Giant Eagle yesterday, and picked up the latest issue of Cosmo. Cosmo is dull and getting duller, along with the many other fashion/sex/diet magazines. The fashion portion is GREAT. Styles...pound this into people's head day in and day out, but if the DISCIPLINE is not there, they are always going to look for an escape or a new "trend" in dieting That's my health schpeel for the day.

Okay, after trying Pandora to get my bearings in the music world and then splurging on CD's from bands with actual labels mostly from Buzzards and Half-Price Books, and after going to my first concert...along a similar line as well. There are others, but this is enough for now. I'll pick up a copy of the Volcano when I'm out tomorrow to see when any of these groups will be playing in the near future
