I got back Thursday, on a very early morning flight, and so I've been kicking it at home since, and will head back to work Monday. Lately I've been thinking a lot about consumer habits. There are a number of interesting trends I've noticed in myself over the last few years - and changed to better suit my needs and values. First... for example, we tackled flatware. This can be filed under the "why did I bother to type this up?" category, although it gave me something to do here at Rudy's while waiting to get my haircut.

I know I often post about wanting to replace my crap-tastic lap top.  I bought this lappy in my third year of college and I've been running it hard ever since.  It often gives out on my, notably on days...will be available as a laptop. sure, they overprice stuff but who doesn't these days? which is why i wait to see what goes on clearance then make my move on stuff i like. stuff like this , which i think gtonizuka will approve of muchly. :3 got other stuff too but i think that was the main highlight.

So as I mentioned I succumbed to irresistable gadget lust and bought me a teeny tiny eee. I went for not quite the most basic model, but nearly, the 701 which is supposed to have better battery life...many different providers that it would be a waste of money. But if I start paying for one-off wireless access on the move, I will soon find that the costs mount up. But generally, yay tiny computer

Okay, so I just found a pair of shoes that was MADE for me. Like, I don't know how these can exist and me NOT own them. They are THE COOLEST SHOES EVER. YES. That is a fucking purple leopard print Dr Martin boot. THEY WERE THINKING OF MEEEEEEEEE! Only problem is the ONLY store I can find that still has them in stock is here , and I don't have the money right now. >_
