Cool thing of the day: witnessed what was probably the first steel pour at MIT in over 40 years. Course 3 is occasionally really awesome like that. I have to do my slides for Thursday's presentation at...time. Ugh, at least if I finish everything I'm registered for right now, I'll be done with the GIRs? As long as I don't die getting there, I think it'll be ok. I am going to go now, though. Later

Didn't get half the things done I had intended to this weekend. Ah well. Did get Pippin up and running again. Went ahead and did a complete system reinstall. But have all my programs and files back on...and snow, I do get annoyed at the dry skin. Even with moisturizing body wash, I have to slather on the lotion. That's when I know Winter is officially ended, when my hands are no longer cracking

I have a new computer now. It's actually just a newer version of my old computer (I like the HP Pavilion ok), but whatever, it's cool. A lot of the same functionality, but with double the RAM and about...six hour battery life? Because there's that too. So yeah. Bit of an odd evening, what with all the installing and whatnot, but ultimately I'm happy with the new computer. Here's to another four years

My computer is suffering from a hal.dll error, so only time will tell whether booting from the XP disc will be able to restore it or not. This makes me sad. Very sad. Because even though I've had my computer...of term when I probably wouldn't. So goodnight, my sweet princess, and flights of kilobytes sing thee to thy rest. Turns out...uses is no longer working. Therefore, I need to order another one from Gateway so I can actually use my damn laptop. :| Which means spending more money I don't have. At least I get paid on the 19th
