Last night Ottawa was given the rare opportunity to truly rock out as Canada’s national capital hosted Matt Costa, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, as well as the big ticket, Oasis. Matt Costa was...those years ago, but also why I remain a fan of them today. That magic was at the show last night in spades; a feeling that sadly The Smashing Pumpkins could not manage to emulate last year.

We got there really early, I think at like noon, maybe a little before, and there were already some people...we were waiting for our ride, Alex and Rian came out in their bathing suits and jumped in puddles. Alex wanted to wash his hair, so we talked to them. And hugged them, shirless and in the rain. =]

But we got to the venue a little after...the show, we stood outside and talked to Marshall for like a half hour, he's really nice. and Ian remembered us from the other show, which was cool. Johnson was pretty happy, too. It was a good show.

Yup, I'm still alive and kicking. I just haven't sat myself down to actually compel myself to make a legitimate post. So guess what? You're stuck with this frivilous post! Bwahahahahaha!!! All dopeyness...visiting with Furlop I took in a Yankees vs. Orioles game and a Dodgers vs. Nationals game. Last Ssaturday I also saw Judas Priest. More details later though. Tonight is NIN. I'm not looking forward to being in a big throng of people in this heat. I better wear something breathable. I'd go with skimpy except the other concert attendees also get sweaty and some... Yay! The last group of 20 year old co-ops in my husbands office called the music we were listening to "old school."  I think they were making fun of us and saying we listen to old people music.

Warped tour was awesome! There's this new band Patent Pending, and they're pretty cool. you should check them out. I just got a job at Olga's kitchen. I like it so far. Puerto Rico in a few days!!!!! I'm getting more and more excited! Breaking Dawn comes out tonight. I can't wait for it! I'm 4th in line.

I'm back, yay. Unfortunately, that means I have NO concerts at all planned anymore. God, I'm gonna die. Wayne Jackson & Lula were great yesterday, though. We met up with the Hamburg-gang, having a good many laughs and a fun concert. The Knust is very small to begin with - there were only about 100 people there, though, making it seem quite big and empty. I felt quite sorry for the guys on stage...
