This is one of my favorite webcomics. You not only get a hilarious (and very true) comic, but a movie review (and a funny one) as well! Two of my favorite things at once. And I absolutely thought...Weekly cover, though as much as I love Kate and Leopold, a sequel would be a very bad idea. But darned it if that picture of Hugh Jackman doesn't make me want to have a crush on a celebrity.
like i said in my previous post, i saw house bunny the movie today. like the above title says, it radiated idiocy but the overall cuteness and hilarity won me over. so basically this movie is about... be long! so my overall grade is a B+. it would have been higher but i normally don't really like movies that radiate idiocy. but it was cute, funny and entertaining so the idiocy is cancelled out
It was terrible. But it was so good. RDJ. I can't say this enough. I fucking love you. Oh, and hey, have you guysheard of this new guy, KirkLazarus? He's... well, check him out for yourself. THIS.
I have to type them up anyway, so I figured I would post them on here and share them...:) The Dark Knight - The latestmovie in the Batman saga may be one of their greatest yet. Once again, Christian...the audience with a deep disappointment after these years of expectation. The movie is a decent movie, but after following a series as popular as The X-Files , the movie falls flat. Well how did I do
There tends to be this point of any major project, where you've made it through one flurry of chaotic-too-much and are left standing in the comparative calm, staring out at a horizon of the chaotic-yet...all manually. I know how to just fine, but it's just annoying. It also frequently summarily deletes random portions of my post when I flip between the rich-text and HTML editors. *is annoyed*
Suarez and I saw this at the Coolidge yesterday. It's Woody Allen's latest, once again starring Scarlett Johannsen, as well as a group of actors new to Allen: Rebecca Hall, Javier Bardem, and Penelope...details: His twenty-something stars use cell phones, yes, but they also play bridge. Bridge ! Does anyone under seventy play this game anymore? Maybe they can dub in "Texas Hold 'Em" for the DVD
Batman! Spoilers ahead. I Netflixed the 1989 Batman to see how it held up to The Dark Knight . I liked it, but it was very 1980s--that Prince soundtrack hasn't exactly withstood the test of time....about cleaning up the city. The kind of meaty role every actor dreams of. I did enjoy the art direction, which the movie won an Oscar for, and the unabashed references to New York--Flugenheim Museum
Tonight I'm going to share my thoughts on 'Death Race' and the movie previews that came on before it. If you really, really, really liked 'Death Race' or are hoping to see it, I would advise against...at home. Yes. Because my initial thought after seeing this movie was to go home, weld a 70mm machine gun, battering ram, and flame thrower to my Explorer, drive 60mph in reverse & shoot at people.
