1.The founder of Macy's (Rowland Macy) was a sailor on a whaling ship before he became  a dry goods merchant. While a sailor, he had a red star tatooed  on his right hand. That red star later became a...of a December week in your community, similar to the challenge issued by Cynthia Lord in July. I hope other people will be interested. I really enjoyed seeing everyone's pictures in the summer.
