The problem with taking in animals off the street is that they're unexpected and they aren't sure how to react to you. I almost hit a deer on my way home from work tonight. I can't be certain that I didn't clip it, but there's no way to know. I'm not sure if what I heard was the squealing of my tires or the cry of the deer. I'm a wreck. A nervous, freaking wreck. And I'm so worried about that deer, I don't know what to do with myself.

Horses on my drive back from errands. People stole this lady's signs so she spray painted her lawn instead.

During lab today, we had to wash cattle. It was just my luck that my partner and I got the cow that was people-shy. His ear tag number was fourteen. At first, he seemed to be alright, but he got scared...dinner today. I don't want to walk to the Commons. I haven't looked at my leg yet, but I need to take a shower soon... but I can just sit here for now. ..... *eats some beef jerky* Take that, Fourteen

So the neighbor girl has been over to play a lot lately. She convinced me to let her play in the backyard where the swing set is. When I let them back there the first time I commented to H that they can...have that red stuff hanging off their beaks they are roosters. I met the big boy St. Bernard we're considering taking off the hands of a lady mom works with. He wasn't taller than Maddie or Sasha but he sure was thicker-- he barked and growled once at Sasha, but I want...only told me 10 minutes beforehand that she wasn't. Halloween tomorrow. No parties so I can't dress up. It's sad. I wonder if anyone will even bother with our house this year-- they don't usually

It's nearly 3 in the morning, and I've just had a little Halloween celebration by myself. I even made a video ! Well, you can say I am pretty insane. Casts have that effect on people.
