I called for my driving lesson this afternoon. Holy crap! She offered me tomorrow morning at 9am. Hell no. That's way too soon. So, I've got next Wednesday at 3pm and then I skip a week, and it's almost...it's because it's too cold in my room and they have to warm up. So, I called to book my driving lessons. That means I get to reward myself like I promised. Not sure what I'm going to do yet.... Hmmmm

So I finally made the transition to Mac. It's an awkward transition. The last time I'd used a Mac for anything substantial was 1993. With a few exceptions involving Unix, I haven't used anything except...and it just sucks. Not cause it's for the Mac but because I just hate the changes they made from 2003 to 2008 versions of Word and Powerpoint. Everything takes twice as many clicks for me to do now

  this is the sound manager for my sound card. ugh. I've tried all the presets and they all sound crappy. I'm using nice speakers (Altec Lansing). I want to manually go about setting the equalizer...things. I've tried "just playing with it" and I make it sound even worse than the presets. I've opened up my top rated in itunes in the background so you can sort of see the type of music I listen to
