I've got a new name for an old game --- when, in a pop song, the last time the Chorus goes around a step higher -- just call it a ChoRuckus. My wife thinks that I would've made a darn good lawyer -- but, with due respect, I have to disagree. First of all, my "attention to detail" is excruciatingly good. Wow, I feel so fucking lazy, I just can't get myself motivated. Maybe it's just that I'm asking myself to do too much: read and analyze fiction/poetry (I think I've read about...10 or so books this summer... got to arrange another three songs did I mention that???), and then formulate a practice plan for piano, read around quite a bit to figure out just what it is I should be doing. So Thursday afternoon I just randomly decided to do the website. Per Shane's suggestion, I used Google Pages, which worked pretty well, although there was a bug in Safari that caused me to lose about a...the lady I talked to in the DC Embassy, I won't have any trouble getting it, though. The school also sent me a "letter of invitation" to ensure I will successfully receive a visa. It is kinda creepy

So I've been doing a lot of work on my projects this week, in the computer lab. Today I worked on In Walked Bud a little, and finished up my sequence for Nardis. A few days ago I went back and started... held for two days, then evicted from China for 6 months. I am really counting on my school to sort it all out for me, although if things go wrong, I don't think there's much they can do to help

... Then I'll be done for the afternoon until 4:30 or so, when the men folk will be rehearsing. And of course I'll have dance after that. So I'll go home and pretend to do my homework and also try and get some arranging done. I think the poem I'll be setting for the women will be "A Word To Husbands" by Ogden Nash.
