of all of the cities i've lived in, i had the rockiest relationship with san francisco. but it was also the most rewarding relationship i've had with any city. i really miss it. i miss haight ashbury...warfield and the filmore and slims and bottom of the hill and the great american music hall . damn. i need to go back and visit. maybe i can steal my heart back. but somehow, i doubt it.
McCall Staffing just called. They have a temp gig starting for me tomorrow with Pacific Data Designs . One week or more, and it pays decent. Good thing it's more on the casual side of "business casual", since I have hardly any clothes that are suitable for an office environment. Though not permanent, it will at least give me a more recent item with a local company to put on my resume.

Sunday of the road trip we went into San Francisco. It was great fun. We saw lot's of guys (and some gals) in military uniform for Fleet week, tried on piles of different hats, watched some of the air... But it did give us a nice view of the ocean. Of course, we left late, and got home later (Irene the latest of us all, because she had an additional couple hours to drive), but it was quite worth it
I don't believe I mentioned that even though I got the job at the game company, I have still been exploring job opportunities since i really don't want to drive more than 100 miles round trip every day... move this weekend, and *theoretically* start this game-testing job on Monday. It all makes me very nervous. I'm sure I'm doing the right thing by signing all that paperwork tomorrow. It feels wrong
Ok in my last post I bitched about how the Damned rarely ever come to America, yet found out later that day that they were playing in SF. Well last night was the gig and it was beyond awesome. I told...of Coldplay saying, "After spending an hour with him you'd probably slit your wrists." We didn't get out of there till midnight, but it was worth it. I can't wait to see them again! про дни недели, автобусы и привычности. у меня вырабатались определенные вкусы на дни недели. больше других я не люблю понедельники и среды. люблю четверги и субботы. в воскресенье с очень большим промежутком...шестдесят звучит страшно, но это холодно, а совсем недавно было восемдесятпять. еще совсем не понимаю как неделя может начинаться в воскресенье, но это не так заметно поэтому без разницы, в общем-то
I love old-timey rayguns. And I really enjoy Wired . I wish I lived in the Bay Area. It seems like so much cool stuff goes on there. *sigh* Must go sleep before another night shift. I suppose shouldn't really be making important decisions on 3 hours sleep.
