No, I am not talking about more and more users abandoning Windows. That is happening no doubt thanks to Vista and Ubuntu Linux being the best Linux ever to run on a desktop (and by so being the easiest...the fire of competition under Microsoft's butt. You will like their software, as you do now. It will be feature less, slow, more and more expensive, but at least you will not have the burden of choice ;-

May, 2008   Today I’m playing with my new copy of Windows Vista Ultimate.  (Yes, the 800 gorilla of the Windows OS line.  I will not own another OS from the kiddie menu ever again.  Period...  Ye Gods.)  I have no idea what happens if one is responsible for the Operating System getting hosed on one of the servers – but I suspect there’s a lot of screaming involved.

I went ahead and repartitioned, formatted, and started over. I am now primarily using Vista 64bit at home. I have a Windows XP partition for the things that will not run on Vista, and I have 50GB reserved...still at work? Because some idiot fucking subcontractor emailed us something they shouldn't have, and I'll be here for another couple of hours cleaning this shit up. Just how I wanted to start my weekend
