I finally got around to installing Ubuntu Linux, and I must say, I love it more than Vista (not that I love Vista, but whatever). Amazing free operating system, simpler than windows. Although I miss the... so it all works out. Anyone that wants to recommend some free apps, please do! P.S. This is very short because the damn AC is broken and I don't feel like typing too much because it's SO DAMN HOT
So, I decided to check out Freespire today. It's the community maintained offspring of Linspire. Built off of Ubuntu Fiesty and so has a Debian base. It comes with most necessary propiertary codecs/drivers/software...or someone with prior GNU/Linux experience I wouldn't recommend using this as a main OS but I'd go with Debian instead. I'm probably going to boot back into Ubuntu soon even though the KDE interface is nice

Today, I had an easier time running on Windows Vista software. However, what I have to say is this that the reason I had trouble yesterday was basically because I tried to change something on Windows Vista...the user then there's speech engine would not be as crappy as it is. You people at Microsoft need to understand one very axiomatic in business... Actions speak louder than words... end of line..
