Personal thoughts located under the cut. It's taking every bit of the strength I've got to keep from running around in circles like a fangirl with my arms up in the air. Seriously, Kripke, I love you...me giggle like mad because I used a line very similar to that in a fic I wrote. LOL. After everything is all said and done with, I have got to give this episode the following. Kitsu's Final Grade: A

Club Dead Writer: Charlaine Harris Genre: Urban Fantasy Pages: 292 It's not often that I can read books in a series so close together. I don't know if that says more about that addictive quality...books. That just goes to show how different each book has been, and how Harris isn't rehashing the same old plot. At least, she's not yet. :) Next up: Dead to the World by Charlaine Harri

...the flashback to his origin intercut or thrown in at the end, this would have been a better story. I'm sure some of this will play out in Ultimatum but we'll have to wait and see. And that's it for this week's reviews. I may be back later in the weekend with a couple more. Really want to hit on Secret Invasion: Thor and possibly the Project Superpowers first story arc. ... A slightly slower way to kick people out of your stories is to set them in a specific place (say, Paris, France) and then never show the reader any of the place. I occasionally review erotica for TCM Reviews , and that's a pretty standard problem in that genre. (I tend to grade erotica on a bit of a curve, so it's usually not mentioned in reviews. Folks are reading erotica for, well, other reasons...

The world of a police officer is a pressure cooker of low...I love to watch. I wish it had been a little tighter and a little faster because in the end, I felt it didn't sufficiently distinguish itself from the genre pieces that it's composed of. -Marc
