*cackles* Hee!!! Be on the look out for a new layout on the 1st. *grins*

I carved C's pumpkin with some direction from him. He didn't want to touch the slimy pumpkin innards. This year H and S liked touching the slimy innards with their hands, but decided the pumpkin goo made...the finished jack-o-lanterns and set them at the corner of our grass. The following are a picture with the flash on, then with the flash off. Next step is roasting the pumpkin seeds

S also tried to carve her own pumpkin this year. I cut open the top and carved the mouth, but she carved the rest.

This is H's second year carving her own pumpkin. Except for helping her scrape out some of the guts and seeds, she did it all herself. Following is some photographic evidence.

So, I was just walking all around the kitchen in no particular direction practicing my Greek accent for tomorrow, when I turn around and Mum is standing at the island staring at me with this weird look on her face. Lawlz.

It's hard to believe Halloween is tomorrow... but I've been celebrating it the past few days between my birthday and a co-worker's birthday. It's been a nice couple of days - even with working all...for awhile afterwards. I have a lot going on this weekend with so many birthdays - but it will be fun... and gives me the weekend off :) I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween! BOO!!

I'm off to Kentucky tomorrow right after school for Jeff's grandfather's funeral. So Happy Almost Halloween! Hope everyone has fun and stays safe!

And now I'm having issues putting in my skull earrings. Stupid tiny black skulls you have to screw on tiny metal post things. Curse you! Okay... got that all settled. Tomorrow is Halloween... my second... Other than that... things aren't going too bad. Well, I'm going to go hunt for batteries for ghost necklace. Have a spooky Halloween tomorrow! ^v^   (that's supposed to be a bat... or something)

No time to do a costume this year, although I've had some good ideas for next year.  But I thought I would post some pix of me from '95 in my best "grown-up" Halloween costume. Pix are a little...that's me as Sissy Spacek's "Carrie," and my former husband Paul as Carrie's mom, Mrs. White.  I remember being very proud my costume when I ran into other Carries on the boulevard. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
