This was on Nickelodeon GUTS this morning when we turned the television on. I still don't get how you can have a kid to go to the plate in what is now outdated catching equipment and expect them to hit a line drive, but...

We're watching the NLDS, and at one point the commentators described Kendall's work behind the plate favorably, saying that he had thus far guided the pitching staff through the Phillies lineup very well...a military officer becomes significantly more difficult to concentrate on when your pitcher is claiming he's freezing and keeps snuggling up to you in the hopes that you will do something to keep him warm

Today I took the boat to the Fight Area. After beating my rival, I got my Super Rod and started eploring, and eventually made my way to Stark Mountain. Buck was a bit of a twit and took the Magma Stone...nature, and would make a great Crobat. But I'm not sure. I'll probably use my Ice Punching Sneasel, too. My night still isn't over, so I'll still probably play lots more. Wish me luck on the Scyther

I really have only one thing to say: Shin guards when catching are vital. And this: OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. We won. We're playing at Milwood. My right knee is a lovely shade of purple. I have a game tomorrow. And Friday. And Tuesday. And Wednesday. Plans for Saturday: 1. Sleep till four. 2. Eat. 3. Nap. 4. Eat dinner. 5. Watch chick flick. 6. Sleep.

I haven't posted in, like, a month, so I figured it was time I posted something. Not much has happened in four weeks. We're going to Disney for the 4801937874103128736th time next week (HURRAH), and I've... I'm trying to find a unique ring for every finger. I dug up an old smiley face one, and recently bought one that changes color. One on each pinkie. MUST FIND MOAR! Lord, this entry is getting long.

Softball practice tonight. We're done with the regular season, but now it's time for All-Stars. What does that mean? Softball through July. Joy. They, for some strange reason, believe that we'll make it...I'm a better catcher for fast pitchers than Amber, Alex likes her better. Oi. Hopefully, it won't be too bad/get too hot. All I have to do is survive. Then I'm done with the whole mess, for good

...Caesers after the tournament was over. I miss the tournament, having to break a new mit in partway through a game. I miss diving into the fence, and I miss ice cream after Saturday practices. I miss catching pop flys, having to dive, and then comparing grass stains. I miss the instant acceptance, the way we always knew each other's favorite cheers. I miss the number eleven, and I miss the red uniforms...

Damn. I have to play at the choir concert tonight. Yay for being the one and only bassist. And, normally, I'd be thrilled at getting to miss a game, it's kind of become a chore...but this game? We're playing.....I'll post it, we have to write "alternate reality" stories. I think vampires and funny paradigm shifts should be alternate enough. And if not, oh well, it's creative writing. Very hard to fuck up

Since I finally acknowledged the fact that being compared to Jason Varitek is actually a huge compliment last night, 1863_project insisted on getting me a Varitek jersey. I have it now; visual...only to see the Thurman Munson and Carlton Fisk stuff. That would actually make me very happy...I'd like to see some of their things and maybe go through the archives a bit. I hope we can make it..
