So I did this look today! Yay! And it came out like this! I used everything in the video but from the browns I used h.i.p. Shady! Yay! This is how I feel today! Lovely and free and pretty...with, rather then the Shaun that came back from basic. I'm so happy. He's becomingso amazing and thoughtful and less selfish. :D YES THANK YOU GOD! ( Goddess, er... Buddha, yeah) This pleases me so
Finally back home! Took so long to update the second posting with pictures because my internet was down for a couple of days. Nevertheless, here I am, and I hope he enjoys these pictures. ...to the airport where they fly to their designated AIT training bases. Final time seeing him at the airport before he heads off to Texas. He looks sharp in his uniform. I miss his facial hair!
Felt quite disgusted at what I gone through yesterday night. Lee called me up and asked if I'm free for supper. I knew something was up but I said ok. Our previous meet-up before Jason left for Aus was...happens. If everything goes through, then there's really something wrong with this organization. Lee CR: if you still think of me as a friend, never bring this up ever again regardless the outcome..
I am finally in Kentucky and I saw Oscar for Family Day from Basic Training. We are all so proud of him.. he looks so happy, so proud, finally found his niche in life. So successful; will post pictures...for his line of work. Another new beginning. A new life. A new status. I don't know how to feel about that yet. But one thing's for sure, I'm happy for him, and I will miss him. To be continued...
This one is a family story. ALLIGATOR PEAR Everyone has started to grow an avocado tree in the kitchen window. It is very simple. Three toothpicks stuck in at angles support the pit above...about two dozen avocado trees ranging in height from one foot to about 4 feet in height. No one has told the trees that the Central Valley is not Avocado growing country, being both too hot and too cold
Before you delve into my innermost thoughts I want you to close your eyes and picture yourself at 17 or 18. Think back to your senior year in high school. Beat down the self-loathing that creeps up...dispensable kids they don’t know and love. I’m praying for a draft of your children and until there is one I’m running every morning with the sunrise to the sound of babies growing up too fast.
Me and my lyrics. I get obsessed with lyrics. I thought. Today I shall post lyrics which are not my usual style. Rah Band- Clouds Across The Moon to be exact. Hi darlin' ! How are you doing ? Hey...control. I'll try anyway. Shall miss you! Come back in one piece! *Jono signing off LJ, content he has posted without leaving a huge gap of two or more months in between the last post* J.
Thankfully, I haven't done much this weekend. I am really exhausted from a difficult, but short week. I am dreading next week, but I felt the same way in Basic Training. You survive from weekend to...making the shift from seeing things as senior enlisted vs. officer mindset. For example, they are used to barking orders at people vs. seeing that we are all peers. Anyway, just thinking out loud.
Woo. So, my sister is graduating from USAF Basic Training Friday, in San Antonio. I will be heading down to see this with my parents and my aunt. I wasn't going to go with them; short on money right now...being away from work, and, more importantly, irritating coworkers. Yay. First vacation, first trip out of state except for training, since last March, the last time I saw Jenna. I feel.... relieved
The Plan: To Germany today. To Dulles, then to Columbia, South Carolina on February 21. First I will go through "reception" where I will be issued my clothing, get more immunizations (I already have...pdf I will post again whenever I can, but it probably will not be until mid-May (then I will put up one of my big catch up posts). Wish me luck!
