Click for Full View   This is the 3/4 view of the updated headphone design for WOM World / Nokia's "Music Almighty" competition promotion. We're pleased with the outcome, especially considering...and perspective tweaks! The neck band's colouring in particular was done several times.. we had to force ourselves to put down the tablet pen! A couple of days ago, a fellow LJ user told me that her class teacher had included some of my work (notably the colourblast series) in a slideshow to show her students examples of good design. Apparently...grateful and quite taken aback. I enjoy what I do, but I never consider myself to be particularly incredible in the realms of graphic design, so such a comment really does bowl me over. Thanks! 

Damn, y'all. Someone on deviantART went and added one of my pictures to their incredibly amazing favorites gallery of nature-related photography . Some of the stuff pictured is phenomenal; my work totally doesn't compare, but I'm honored nonetheless.

The headphone design for WOM/Nokia  was well recieved, and we've been asked to provide an additional 3/4 view of the concept. (This will also allow us to make any tweaks or alterations). One completed...to release the album in the next couple of weeks.. We've just been handed the final tracklist to update the design and then it's all systems go! Can't wait to see this on Rec72's website ...

As mentioned, the lovely people at WOM World /Nokia came to us with a brief of designing a pair of headphones to promote their upcoming "Music Almighty" competition. The deisgn would be used to sell...these is that the ear pieces contain colour-changing LED's that respond to the BPM and style of the music playing at the time of use, either by pulsating or cycling through a selection of colours.

At present, We've got a few different creative projects in the pipeline... Firstly, we've been asked by WOMWorld to design a conceptual pair of headphones to advertise and promote their upcoming Nokia...within these areas, and cant wait to show you all! We're also continuing with the redesign of the devious creations website, as well as a few visual updates for this blog. Keep 'em peeled.

Lukeing Forward is a 22 yr old producer from Warsaw, whose debut full length is released by German Netlabel Rec72 this October. Entitled "Wandering in Urban Fog", the album covers a full myriad of...possible interest in striking up a creative relationship... just what we like to hear! We'll be sure to give more details and news of any future Rec72 / Deviouscreations collabs as things progress.

I just broke another pair of headphones. I pulled them a little too hard when they somehow got stuck in the arm leans of my brother's oddly constructed office chair, and now everything but the treble sounds...them once in a while. And Paul Simon's Graceland is top notch. I should try to forget that a raspy-voiced busker butchering Simon and Garfunkel hits was the one who reminded me to listen to it again
