Okay, I am *seriously* impressed with Spore - and not just on an entertainment level.  Technically, it's bursting with even more innovations than a Google-shaped Googly thing. Probably the first thing...Spore "tries to do everything and does it so well you don't realise you're in one isolated stage of the game".  You'll hate the end of each stage in evolution because you just want to keep playing .

Oh. My. God. I'm so staying away from this game. I don't have the money, and above all I don't have the time to get involved with this!

I finally got my schedule for Fall and two out of the three classes I'm taking are online.  Kind of silly, I think, but I checked and there were no non-online classes available, so...ah well. That just...I've also not finished FF10, FF12, Kingdom Hearts....and I just started playing Persona which is a lot of fun sometimes... Um, okay maybe I will take the ps2 with me. This post had no substance.  *sigh

Much easier then...your bloke should not be allowed to wear a ball-gown. Except I'd be more comfortable if he hadn't nicked Moreth's bra and shoved a couple of socks in it... he could at least have asked, dammit!!!  

Do computer games company executives buy retail CDs? It's an interesting question, because it looks like the big players in that industry are heading in much the same direction as the record label majors...and raise once more the weary battle cry of the professional twentysomething against the entertainment industry: I have disposable income. Please make something I actually want to spend it on.

Having managed to get a new gamepad (an Xbox 360 wired controller), I finally met the preconditions I'd set in order to give Lego Indiana Jones a try, and I was quite surprised at what I saw; with the...that could suck away my gaming time quite comprehensively (barring raiding in WoW). It'll be something to distract me from the discomfort of my bruised little toe, from accidentally kicking a chair..

When did game developers apparently forget about having the camera follow the 3rd person perspective by default? This was one of the reasons I never bothered playing The Punisher past the opening few...pick up moving vehicles and throw them in random directions), and the broken camera tracking is an unnecessary distraction. I can learn to play around it, but the point is that I shouldn't have to.

It's been a roller-coaster day for me emotionally. High point: I got a massage (they had a summer special at the campus health center), and then I met with my adviser which was good, but led to some stressful...back and it will be socially awkward.
