Good news, everybody! Chapter 3 of THotJ has finally been completed, the last scene of the chapter crumbling under pressure and eventually letting me finish it off. Now it is time to see if my BetaReader...picture attachments and then finally read the email before she would send him a grudging ‘thank you’ and a reminder to escape the Centre himself before it swallowed him whole. What she found was disturbing

I turned the PRETENDER’S CROWN revisions in about 90 minutes ago. The manuscript came in at 684 pages, which means… bigferret /bigferret came in closest with a guess of 671 pages. If you want to... because I just cannot face going into another set of revisions immediately. I think I’ll go swimming and maybe read a book or something. My friends are gone, I still don't know where I'm going to live in Japan, I still haven't received the money I need to pay the school's fees, and the world in general is absolutely terrifying and dumb...meta-plot in a way that makes it very rewarding to watch the episodes in sequence - and very difficult to stop, even though there are no actual cliffhangers until the last two episodes of the season

My brain is working faster than the rest of me can follow! Today was the first day in about a month when I did not have M & co and/or work. So I had a list THIS LONG of things I wanted to do - which...characters! As long as they make friends who can fix them up. And now this post is getting really, really long, and I've still got half a million things to do! So much to spazz about, so little time

I feel sleepy, and full of sparkly love for the world (which didn't end today! always a good thing). Yet another old friend has joined us for a brief visit here at the farm, all the way from London!...kind of privilege would encounter! See - eventually I want to write a real post about The Pretender, but for now, I just needed to get a couple of the too-many thoughts about this show off my chest.

Okay so I'm not sure what my damage is, but it seems like I can never get around to my lj anymore. Consider this a post with the intention of putting an end to that. Yes, so. Fan-crushing hard on The Pretender right now. I made it an icon! :D Since this already happened some eleven years ago (minus the icon, since pictures on the internet weren't invented...Nyheter that I wanted to link to, because it amused me greatly, but they've got the stupid blog trackback thing activated, and I don't want my LJ linked from the biggest newspaper in Sweden..

I've been wanting to branch out my dvd buying interests and decided to see if amazon.com had any sells going on.  By checking the "used and new" sellers section I was able to get some shows that I watched...Woman (season 1) for $20.  I was also able to get The Pretender (season 1) for $16.  Both of these were new, never been viewed dvds.  I'm excited about getting both of these and can't wait to watch them

Okay, so all I can really focus on for this one is the scene at the end: Jarod, winning the blue ribbon at a chili cook-off, with a Texas accent. Heh. I enjoy cooking and all, but, you know, while my...was to not cast on for Hint 1 of the Secret of the Stole III. But I figured that since my knitting time is about to become next to zero, I might as well FINISH a project, instead of starting a new one.
