I feel I have missed something in life having never gone to see this in Vegas in the last eight times I've blown through. Sadly, I've never dated any Trekkies.
I found this today. It's pretty rad. The graphics are total shit, though - no antialiased fonts, and the United Federation logo stretches out terribly when the app is loading, so I recreated it as a...psyched about it. I'm going to fix all the graphics so it doesn't look like shit on his 36" plasma in his bedroom. I am SO BEHIND AT WORK. And I am tired. And hungry. So I am going home now
"I feel terrible." I won't go into nasty details, but suffice it to say that my digestive tract is apparently in a hurry today. Thought it was just next-day ickiness from eating too much Labor Day...Spock use the sensors to find out if the jet actually had nukes or not so they could have saved themselves the trouble? *tsk tsk,* D.C. Fontana. But I nitpick. It's still a fun episode.

So for the last year or so, I've been reading a ton of Star Trek books. I love them. Quick, fun reads most of the time. I recently found out that several of my favorite Star Trek authors have livejournal...be like, 'Hi, don't mind the stalker chick!' What to do, what to do? In other news, I hate waiting til the last minute to do laundry and then start it at 10:00 at night. Why do I do that to myself
So this was an adventurous Holiday weekend. The plan was to drive to Vegas on Friday afternoon at about 2 since I had a half day at work and we wanted to beat the traffic. When I tried to leave work...some of the staff (especially the bar tenders!) which made this closing even more heartbreaking. They are as big a geeks as the ones they serve. So I raise my glass to Quark's Bar. You will be missed
