Today, I is lookin' good . My Uncle Chris came into town yesterday and I am muy, muy excited to see him. He's such a neat, Jersey of a guy. I wish he could've seen 'Lucy', but oh well. I shall just have...and I love it. This week's gonna be glorious, 'cause even though I'll miss the shows, I'm so glad to have time to myself, time to play in and out of my new home, time to watch Ironman in my socks.

Well, it's been ten months since we had the cellar done, and whilst we STILL haven't found a blacksmith who is able to do what we want for the balustrade and gate, it is pretty much finished. We both... a really deep red;the ceiling is actually a kind of caramel biscuit colour, not white. So there you have it - almost four months of dirt, dust and inconvenience....but it was worth it!

In response to various requests, here are some house pics! I may well post my cellar conversion diary too...but in another post. This is the outside (of course!). Built in 1869 for the Co-operative Boot...online at the same time! The cellar; take one dank hole, add £36,000 and several months of frustration... and voilla - it becomes the best room in the house!
