I just finished watching the movieI Am Legend because I was so impressed with the book. I'll say that the movie was ok. And it was well worth watching just for the scene where Will Smith is working out...child. Other than those five things it's not the same at all. How Robert interacts with number 2-5 is totally different too. I think it's just sad that Hollywood thought it necessary to change it so much
My rating: 5/5 Summary: One of the most influential vampire novels of the 20th century, I Am Legend regularly appears on the "10 Best" lists of numerous critical studies of the horror genre...sympathy would change into an emotionless, faithless, hopeless entity. The story is one of hope vs. hopelessness. It broke my heart and made me think in a new way. I recommend it for everyone.

So I thought I would get LJ, as I like to write... and rant, and this seemed like the perfect place. This site always confused me, probably why my old account just withered and died. But I thought it... Not sure what I'll be using this blog for at the moment. Maybe a bit of everything. Stories, Reviews, Rants.. Anything mu small little mind can think of really. Anywho, back to the film ^_^
They really outdid themselves with this airport. It dazzles metaphorically and literally (note the sparkly lights). I think they could use a more original name though. Beijing Capital seems a little redundant...were evidently not good enough, forcing the girl at the front desk to call the night manager, who called the day manager, who finally decided, yes, it was OK for them to have foreign guests.
WHAT. UP. Ok so today was a pretty good day and my first day of no internet and cell phone contact :D I watched so many movies today it's crazy. I watched Trainspotting and I really don't know why so...going to watch Dr. Strangelove since everyone says it's a good movie...and imdb gave it an 8.7, and imdb never lies xD. I just realized that my birthday is 17 days away including today....yay...
Hey, I'm Louisa. I found this comm thru snapshot_hunter and then zxwx's profile. And it sounds just like my cuppa tea! :D I love both books and movies. I spend most of my free timereading and watching...and an overhaul of society and turned it into an action movie with a semi happy ending...Bleh.. Well I hope you enjoyed my reviews/rants!
