Benny Boo turned 3 a couple of weeks ago. To celebrate, we went to the park where Rachel planned a vintage themed birthday party. There was "Pin the Nose on the Clown", bobbing for apples and apple...able to take a few pictures...it was a tad bit frigid so Chad and I took turns sitting in the truck with Miss Elizabeth. As you can tell from the last picture, Joseph partied until he dropped.

Sir Dynamo's birthday sleepover was a success. Loud, but a success. Or perhaps that is: the boys were loud, so it was obviously a success. I failed big time at the camera, however. I forgot to take the...it has been due -- a yearly rooting, you see, needed because of old clay pipes that we have not decided would be worth the cost of replacing) late last night and not this weekend during the party.

So Saturday was Bill M's birthday party and despite some initial uncertainty, I headed over. There had been a pretty good sized snow dump earlier during the day and through the overnight period, leaving...was all that had remained on the plastic plate and thus could be salvaged. I've still got the chunk of his face sitting on my dresser right now. Maybe I'll just keep him there as a good luck charm

We got through the anniversary yesterday okay. It was such a different kind of day, hot again but so still and clear. It was good to be over at Troy ’s mum and dad’s place too, to be together while... some potting mix and a punnet of seedlings so he can plant something and watch it grow, after the disappointment of his acorns not immediately springing to life when he buried them in the dirt!
