BHK and I are now married 2 years! 1/20th of my life together... or the best part, depending on how you do the math. :) Back got rather tough last night - shopping at b&N brought back sciatica saw cute book - frankenstein makes a sandwich. Starting to feel a bit like ctober! Going to a birthday party this weekend - Our neighbors Jay & Sean are celebrating 1 year of Duncan being out in the world with them! BHK is making a cake, and got a cute outfit... pictures may follow later, if they're taken, and permitted. (Folks can be worrisome about kid pics on the net.) Watched SNL with in-laws - mostly silly political stuff about the debate...

... I think it's just been from all the hubbub at work and family-wise. I think being stressed about the bro has given me some clenched muscles and attitude issues, which I am trying to work with, too. BHK made some awesome quiche for supper... I know how spoiled I am. Two types - broccoli and cheddar, and soy-sausage with mozzarella. Sides of potato cakes, and more broccoli & cheese. Comfort food...

Dentist went reasonably well - tooth will require a crown in the next couple of weeks, but it looks like that will work out ok. The purple truck should be all better tomorrow - the issue was a timing chip that just failed - no "evil parking lot type" stole the catalytic converter, or fan belt. Entropy was the culprit. We're all pretty tired... early to bed, early to rise, dear journal!

...fooled by previews, and didn't get as good a show as expected. Jack Black and Ben Stiller didn't do much for me, but I was impressed by ol' Downey and Nolte. We had a nice Thursday night date, anyhow! BHK got her allotment of popcorn and I enjoyed a soft pretzel and some crunch bar bites.
