I just wrote an incredibly long entry about how amazing the Jenny Lewis show was last night. And then I clicked something, and it was gone. Damndamndamn. So I finally saw The Dark Knight yesterday with Dave, Jason, Kayne, and Erek. It was pretty fantastic, although I thought that the end "message" was more than a little nihilistic. I mean, really?  After the movie, we went to Pegasus because I've been craving their chicken souvlaki since...well...before I even left for Peoria. I love that place, and I hope it doesn't close, but I kinda have a feeling...

I'm moving to Peoria one week from today. There's still a lot to be done, yuck. Erek's coming over tomorrow to help me, though, so that's nice. He actually volunteered to help me clean, pack, and take donations to the Community Enabler, despite the fact that we kinda broke up last week when he got back from Bonnaroo. We're still friends, which is really what we were during our "sorta-almost-maybe"...

...the best of him?? Yeah, I've been woah bad about that lately. Damndamndamn. I'm resurrectin' memories of a love that's dead and gone...   But anyway. In the new-love front, there has been a development. Erek has been more boyfriend-esque lately than before. He went to Birmingham with me on Tuesday to get this year's Southern Academic Review s from the publisher and then to BSC to distribute them. I tried...

...Did you know that Gavin Rossdale has a solo CD out, and his new single ("Love Remains the Same") is really, really good?? I still miss Bush, though. 16 Stone  remains one of my favorite albums. Erek's parents invited me to have dinner at their house last night. I also got to meet his brother, Ilan, his brother's friend( Josh, maybe?), and their dog, Max, whom I love already. He "sings" with Erek's...

Hannah graduated from high school on Thursday night. Erek and I went to the grad. party at her house beforehand - she looked so beautiful and happy. :) Some endings are truly exciting, like the one she is experiencing. Some are decidedly more scary. Our group had a good-bye party for Zach at the Moose last night, and very few people showed up. Of course, it was a last-minute(ish) sort of thing, as...

I went to see the new Indiana Jones movie on Thursday night with JR, Mili, Clay, Clay's new love interest, Zach, Justin, Erek, and my dad. :) Quite an interesting group. It was really nice to hang out with some of the old group again. On Friday night, I made (vegetarian) spaghetti for the fam and Erek, and while the rest...

So. The new Death Cab leaked on the Internet. JR has a copy. Erek is getting a copy. Everyone and their brother (read: Rolling Stone , the only music magazine that counts) says that it's absolutely incredible . Crazy as it sounds, though, I think I am going to wait until May 13th, the official release date, to enjoy it. I've eagerly awaited this since...oh...the day after Plans came out in '05...

... Fuck this day. I'm a hung-over, urinary-tract-infected, nauseated, angry reject of yet another lying asshole.  Maybe tomorrow I can go back to being just Jenny. In nice news, the date with Erek was good, and he wrote a poem about me. I know, I know, it's a bit soon, but he fancies himself a poet...and he's really not half-bad. He uses cliche phrases too much, but his passion definitely still...
