I just got the song "Just Dance". I heard it on Logo, the gay cable channel. It's a pretty good song with a catchy beat to it. I could see myself dancing to this song. Who knows. If we go out tomorrow it may be being played at the club. -Hotal
Ever since my post-MoCCA high melted into romantic misadventure, I've been riding on a wave of zombie-like self indulgence, and not being anywhere near as productive as I should be, in just about every... I'm off work tomorrow night, and I plan on getting A LOT done, from comics to music to housecleaning. The Beesting Conspiracy Luxury Shower Stall, by the way, is cleaner than it has EVER been.
How does a punk rock band maintain any amount of credibility after they sign to a major label? How about work with punk rock legend Bill Stevenson (of Black Flag & the Descendents) when recording...this album, I am excited to see what the future holds for this band, which is still really only in it's youth. Appeal To Reason is a fantastic find for fans of fast, furious political hardcore.
ITEM! I jammed with my old friend Jon, which was awesome. I went out there thinking we might write a song together, but the desire to keep it casual pretty much drowned that out (this is not a complaint...at work. ITEM! Arcadia, California is a nice place to stay, outside of the bustle of LA and still offering some nice personality, including a lovely little dive called The Drinkers Hall of Fame.

I got up ridiculously early this morning! I have apparently forgotten how to sleep in. I have class at 11, which means leaving home at 10:15. I wanted to shower this morning, but even showering and blow... Whew. I wrote a lot. It's actually a reasonable time for me to head to school. That way I will get to class early and can get some more reading done on The Subtle Knife. Okay, homies, I'm out. :
I just recently purchased Goodnight and Have A Pleasant Tomorrow, a cd by the Brobecks a local band in Salt Lake City Utah. These guys are phenomenal. I saw them at the Big Ass Show this year for the first...good. These guys, and Royal Bliss, are one of the few local bands I find great. The songs are fun to listen to and his voice is so good and unique. I can't wait to see what's up next for these guy
