В исполнении Smokie песня звучит протяжно и заунывно, а из-за своего медленного темпа к тому же и очень долго (слова-то одни и те же). ..... prevents happiness. But worse, it kills me one moment at a time. What causes it? How can I be rid of it forever? My once surefire medication is no longer valid. It no longer bring me joy. Someday I hope to find myself. I often find myself dreaming of my cat, Smokie. I think he visits me there, but I am unprepared. I only hope that at the end of his life, he found peace in my voice. :'(

...so I could have extra extra pickles! Liz brought a orange birthday cake to our house for dessert that was quite scrumptious. We also had "orange scream" ice cream to go along with it. Yum! Liz and Smokie get along famously. She and Bob wish to move to Arizona some day. I told her that if I die young Smokie may just end up in Arizona with her because I've chosen her to be his "surrogate mom".
