So yesterday was a "free day". I went for breakfast, returned to my room, surfed the net for a while, went to the gym, then left for Coloane. My aim was to locate Lord Stow's egg tarts and take the public... Going to the gym later and perhaps checking out some other places beyond in the afternoon. Mom is again off to China. Another makan session tonight - farewell dinner at the Macau Tower. Sek kau poon!!
Japan has this amazing talent for getting away with being cute. I wish you could all just watch a 10 minute sample of randomly selected Japanese commercials, and you'd probably get a sense of how many...School Festival) today and tomorrow, and will hopefully have a post with pictures about that all in a couple days. Monday I've got another trip planned and hopefully will have a seperate entry for it
Bleh. Bleh bleh bleeh. No updates in a while. No internet at my moms. She's a little crazy. Homecoming week = craziness. That pretty muchsums up the last 4 days. The last 4 weeks. Mhmm. I miss maggie... I hate the uncertainty, I hate being awkward. But in good news! Im a published writer now. Mrs Mitchell is a crazy bitch. But I suppose I can handle it. I don't know what else to say. Blarrrrrg
To my surprise (and delight) I no longer feel as if I am entering prison every morning as I come in to work, nor do I feel like I'm escaping prison when I leave. It's still not my favorite way to spend...steadily I am gaining faith in vocation and feel increasing excitement about living it out in public. All of this adds up to a much happier and more contented Me than I've been in a very long time
I got a letter in the mail today from Tucson, Arizona. I was a bit confused. I know Cheryl had threatened to send me something, but for the life of me I couldn't remember what. So I opened it. Inside was a magneticsticker with the words HAIL ERIS written out. I laughed so hard. That just made my day.
Tomorrow I will be leaving home at around 4:00 am. I will be going to Al-Jahra desert, and I will be spending Friday and Saturday there. I will be celebrating Samhain, reflecting on the new year, reflecting...to look into in Buntús Cainte and do a little more reviewing on Progress in Irish and Buntús Cainte . I need to do a bit of reading as well, on The Ancient Celts and The Universe Story .
i think i am losing the motivation to type capital letters. it's a slippery slope - it starts on instant messenger, moves on to facebook, and before you know it, you're writing all lowercase in your open...if it's not 100% finished when claire gets here, i think i'll be in good shape. there's no point in stressing about it. i'm in a "life's-too-short" kind of mood. many happy songs are stuck in my head
So, I'm not a tech geek . Not even a little. I'm an english major; books are what I do. FTP? WTF. Shakespeare's complete works? Aw yeah . Anyway, my point is, a few month's back it came time for me...calls, and I love it. * It cost me $75 on a two-year contract; it's not a good deal, but there are worse. Today the server got an unexpected maintenance, which is not a bad thing at all (finally got some time off from WOW ^^;). but it caused the guildmates making a big conference on IM the whole night *feels...but none of my current list being released. Slice of life's subs really taking a long time *sigh*. Maybe going to re-watch sketchbook full colours for this weekend ^^ Will post more tomorrow morning :
